Ongoing adventure
After living for 10 years in the Novutopia Commune, formerly called BuddhaHill, the wind is blowing South. Spending 5 months as a woofer in Sicily gave me plenty opportunities to apply what has been learned in these years.
Two phrases helped me especially: „The art is to make the best out of the worst.“
and Pan's maxim: “Whatever situation you find yourself in, you deserve it!“
This kept me afloat in impossible situations, instead of drowning in the comments of an ever complaining mind.
I learned to enjoy the gifts that are open or hidden in every situation. There was the experience that I can stand on my own feet with a perception and the ability to share with new friends.
Now being back in the commune I feel a strong link of love that can not be broken through outer circumstances. Before taking off for Sicily again in early fall I enjoy every moment that is shared in this caravan of love, be it singing, meditating, working or eating together.
